3. Medical Records & Health Data
Your medical records are treated with the highest level of confidentiality in compliance with the Digital Information Security in Healthcare Act (DISHA) and applicable Indian healthcare regulations.
- Medical records are only accessible to treating doctors, nurses and authorised medical staff directly involved in your care
- Records are maintained electronically and physically in secured systems with access controls
- You have the right to access, request copies of, and correct your medical records at any time
- Records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by Indian medical regulations
- In the event of a life-threatening emergency, information may be shared with emergency responders and family members
6. Data Security
We take the security of your personal and medical data seriously and implement the following measures:
- HTTPS encryption on all website pages and form submissions
- Google Sheets access restricted to authorised staff only using Google account security
- Physical medical records stored in secure, access-controlled areas
- Staff trained on patient confidentiality and data protection obligations

7. Data Retention
- Medical Records: Minimum 7 years from the date of last treatment (as per MCI guidelines)
- Appointment Data: 3 years from the date of appointment
- Billing Records: 8 years as required for tax and audit purposes
- Website Analytics: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
- Marketing Consent Records: Until consent is withdrawn
After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
